MHILAT My heart is like a train,MHILAT by ~socrnt7
And you are the tracks.
With you there,
I feel like I can go anywhere.
Sadly, along the way I got derailed.
I stopped
But you keep going,
Leaving me behind.
All this cargo
With me it remains.
Collecting dust, cobwebs
Will this cargo stale?
Where are my tracks?
There is no destination without them.
Is there another train on the tracks?
Is there no room for me?
My heart is like a train,
And you are the tracks.
But you aren't here.

Nature's Guides Summer time has expired,Nature's Guides by ~socrnt7
Its transition to golden gradients is required.
As the feathered begins to fly away,
The grass withers and begins to decay.
It's not to say these times haven't inspired.
Fall comes, embracing the town with leaves,
Building up upon our eaves.
Slowly it gets colder and more bleak,
Though at first the cold is meek.
But then the last breath of warmth ends as Fall heaves.
Winter announces its arrival with a cold embrace,
Leaving barren trees with a snowy lace.
Our bundling up is a way to cope,
But nature's way is apparent: the tree's persistence brings hope.
Promising renewed life with grace.
Spring

Dirge of a Betraying Heart Oh oh oh, how can I fail so?Dirge of a Betraying Heart by ~socrnt7
Oh oh oh, must I reap the seeds i sow?
It wasn't too long ago,
Where I was the one who made her smile glow.
Oh oh oh, I regret the happenings of another day.
Oh oh oh, that time will forever make my days gray.
It's ironic how I'm my own predator and prey
That night there were two victims turned astray.
Time to lament the loss of you
I make amends by staying by your side true.
Though my feelings for you still accrue,
I must stand aside as another makes his debut.
Oh oh oh, how I forfeited everything of you,
During that night I became untrue.
Oh oh oh, how blind was I in this adieu,
